Hi there, let’s delve into the fascinating realm of auto-generated content! Talking more about the rosters than campaign possibilities, and given that I'm not sure what are the MP's most valued factions, I'd say that Saba receives few love, since Kush has all the attention in the Desert Kingdoms DLC. I feel myself like a cavalry commander, so I couldn't enjoy with them at all. I remember watching a Spaniard youtuber getting away with an Ardiaei army in MP (lots, lots of armour piercing damage + a little but strong core of hoplites). So what are YOUR favourite underrated faction? The Ardiaei aren't anywhere near the best battle faction in the game but they are WAY above what people rate them as. I do agree that the Ardiaei have some of the worst cavalry and melee units in the game, HOWEVER, their illyrian Hoplites are very good units with 105 armour, as high as royal spartans.Īnd if you invade Eprius on turn one and DON'T replace their hoplite barracks you can recruit illyrian hoplites by turn two, basically meaning your early game weakness is null and void. When the enemy run out of reach just put a cheap marine unit as bait and watch as the foolish foe charges at your one helpless unit while you tear them apart with your tower ships. You can break down enemy walls and sail your tower ships to pick away at their land units. The Ardiaei is the only barbarian faction to use Greek ships and they use the barbarian port type instead of the Greek one, meaning on their FIRST port they have access to Tetreres and on the second port upgrade, the Ardiaei have access to tower ships, artillery ships and the massive Penteres ship type. I think a faction that gets ignored by the community a fair bit is the Ardiaei. Well anyway i'm here to bring to attention Underrated factions and i'm curious to which playable factions you find underrated? There are special events (dilemmas) that portray the trials and tribulations associated with women coming to power in ancient times. For cultures where women can’t hold public offices there is a special “Cursus Honorum” path that follows the increase in “behind-the-stage” political influence of women. In some cultures, like Rome and Greek – women can only serve a social/political role while in other women can be generals and fight alongside men. Important female characters have been added to all campaigns and across all factions.Following in Zenobia’s footsteps, Cleopatra and Teuta are now fully playable as faction leaders and generals, along with custom visuals and voice-over.Alongside their individual Faction Traits, the Desert Kingdoms all share the following Cultural Traits:ĭesert Warriors: Bonus to morale in desert battles and bonus income from agricultureĭeep-rooted Traditions: Penalty to research rate Each faction also has new building chains and technology trees, playing to their strengths and further differentiating their playstyles. While culturally similar, each faction boasts unique new unit rosters which offer different military strengths. Surviving these harsh environmental conditions has forged them into hardy warriors who use the shifting desert sands to their advantage in battle. These factions are native to the deserts of Africa and Arabia. The Kingdoms of Kush, Saba and Nabatea fall under the African/Arabian subculture, while the Masaesyli are of Numidian origin. The Desert Kingdoms Culture Pack introduces four new playable factions to Total War: ROME II. Typically, when both BUN and creatinine are elevated, about 30 percent of kidney function remains. A higher reading indicates overall declining kidney health. The normal creatinine level in a cat with healthy kidneys is between 0.6 and 2.4 mg/dL. Certain factors, such as dehydration, pregnancy, high or low protein intake, steroids, and aging can impact your levels without indicating a health risk. Creatinine, also a waste product, is the second key indicator of overall kidney health. However, abnormal BUN levels don’t necessarily mean you have a kidney condition. A medication wouldn’t be recommended to lower BUN levels. A low-protein diet can also help lower BUN levels. Individual laboratories will have different reference ranges, as. Proper hydration is the most effective way to lower BUN levels. Normal human adult blood should contain 6 to 20 mg/dL (2.1 to 7.1 mmol/L) of urea nitrogen. Keep in mind that some medications, such as certain antibiotics, can raise your BUN levels.ĭepending on your test results, your doctor may also run other tests to confirm a diagnosis or recommend treatments. A second such reason might be the existence of evidence which could not reasonably be obtained prior to the trial judge's original ruling on the disputed issue or issues. For example a decision comes down from an appellate court that has jurisdiction over the trial court that changes the law that the judge applied in the original decision. What would be a "compelling reason"?Ī change in the law on which the trial judge based his or her decision would be one example of a compelling reason. Remember that above I wrote that you have to give a compelling reason why the trial judge should reconsider the decision. So am I saying that you should never file a motion for reconsideration even if the decision you want reconsidered is not a final judgment? Not exactly. 60 motion but instead file a motion for reconsideration thinking that such a motion tolls the time for filing a notice of appeal you are in for a very rude awakening and exposing yourself to malpractice. 60 seeking an order setting aside the final judgment. Pitts, 67 Ohio St.2d at 380. This is shown by another quote from another decision of the Court of Appeals for the Third Appellate District: So if an attorney filed a motion for reconsideration after a final judgment in the trial court such a motion would not be tolling the time for filing a notice of appeal since the motion is basically a nullity. The proper vehicle for relief from a final judgment is a motion to vacate under Civ.R. "A party may file a motion for reconsideration in a trial court only to obtain relief from an interlocutory order or decision." (Emphasis added.) Ham v. In fact, a trial court is "without power to entertain" a "Motion to Reconsider" after a final judgment is entered. ![]() "The Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure do not recognize motions for reconsideration after a final judgment in the trial court." Ray v. This is shown by the following quote from a decision of the Court of Appeals for the Third Appellate District: The reason why a motion for reconsideration can actually be counter-productive is that if the decision made by the trial judge is a final judgment the trial court has no jurisdiction to consider a motion for reconsideration. Now does anyone think that people who make decisions for a living are going to respond well to that approach? The judge believes that his or her decision was the correct one and isn't going to appreciate the opportunity to revisit a decision that he or she has made and already moved on from making. Why would they believe this to be the case? If a trial judge has issued a decision and in that decision explained his or her reasoning why is he or she going to suddenly decide that their previous decision was wrong and that they should now issue a contrary decision?īasically when you file a motion for reconsideration you are saying to that judge that the judge's decision was wrong and that you are graciously giving them a second chance to reach the right decision. ![]() Attorneys seem to believe that trial judges are making their rulings without carefully considering the evidence and the law that the parties have given to them. Here's why they are usually a waste of time: I am most likely not going to change my initial ruling or my verdict unless you can give me a very compelling reason. Such motions for reconsideration are for the most part a waste of time and indeed can even be very counter-productive. In the motion they usually try to re-litigate the issue that I have already decided. Occasionally when I am handling a case a party, after having lost a ruling on a motion or having received a verdict against them in a bench trial, will file a motion for reconsideration.
